Jack Prendergast was a British Dance band leader. He was also the father of the late Film Composer John Barry. His Band was resident at the Rialto Ballroom and Cinema, Fishergate, York. In August 1934, the band traveled to London to record for the Octacros Company. Octacros 1048a (5302-2) London, August 1934 Jack Prendergast dir.
